There are few things in life that have the ability to make you feel exuberant. Falling in love.....Being in love.....Your wedding day.....Finding out your having your first child.....and your second.....and third.....
Which is exactly the news we want to share...We're having a baby!!! Beautiful baby #3!
Exuberant??
...TOTALLY!
Dave and I found out last Sunday. I'm 5 weeks along, due on Dave's birthday! February 19. I actually took two due date calculators; one said February 19 and the other said February 14 ♥ Valentines Day ♥ I don't mind due dates much though. I figure sometime in February is good with me :D
A week after we got back from our camping trip in Sedona, I knew for sure that I had ovulated. I was absolutely 100% positive and I was right!! Clearly. Haha...
They say Sedona is a magical place. And I would have to agree! I got pregnant with this baby without ever having a period. Not even one (I never had one after I had Levi). It was just time...written in the stars truly.
A couple of months ago I literally felt a switch flip in my mind (and my heart)...and immediately I felt like I wanted a baby now. I even told Dave, "I want one like yesterday!" Those words exactly. And here we are, blessed beyond belief!
Words can't express the excitement we feel. Dave is especially stoked. He was happy when we found out we were having Dakota and Levi, but with this one, he seems especially joyful. He tells me almost everyday. The day after we found out, he wrote me a note before he went to work that said, "I love you preggo!" Makes me smile.
My favorite memory so far about this pregnancy is when we told Dakota she was going to be a big sister to another baby. Her face beamed. I don't think I've ever seen a look like that on her face before. We told her while we were all sitting at the dinner table. We had just finished eating and it was a perfect calm and peaceful moment. I sat her on my lap and explained to her that I had a little, teeny, tiny baby in my belly. Since then she's both drawn and painting me a picture of the "new baby". Of course we will treasure them forever.
This is definitely an interesting time to be pregnant. Our home sale is poking along. One thing after another. But we're contently waiting, happy to be focusing on our newest addition in the works. We're not sure how the timing will work out; Whether we'll still be here (which judging by how long this is taking, is a real possibility!) or we'll be in transition, either moving or staying with my parents for a bit while find another place, or we could already be in the new house. Who knows! All I know is what is most important...our family of FIVE!

THANKS ladies!!!
@ Amber: Yes! I was going to email you back right now. I was so happy to hear from you. Where have I been? Where have YOU been?! Haha.
@ Shelly: Vegas was awesome! We had a great time. We met Carrot Top (try not to be jealous), ate a four hour, five course meal, and went dancing at Blush. It really rocked. I didn't get to see Pam though! I was bummed. Her and Canyon were sick :( But I did call her on the way home and she was very excited. You know you have life long friends when they are as excited as you are. Just like you! Not only are you a life long friend, but you're also psychic!!! You better start recording your dreams from now on.
Corin,
congratulations. I am smiling from ear to ear at your news. We are SO enjoying our new addition and i already know that, despite all the troubles i had with the birth, i want another one soon. Children bring so much and if i could i would have 8! ;0)

Oh my gosh! What an amazing coincedence!! And also a weird coincedence that I was on here right now adding our baby ticker to the right at the exact same time you were commenting.
Congrats to you!! Let me know if you ever start a blog (I didn't see one listed on your profile). It would be so fun to keep up with you since you're due the same day!
Corin, I have just caught up on your wonderful news. How exciting for you all. And as a mummy of 3, I can also say it is the best thing I have done too.
And a very happy 4th birthday to Dakota. Can't believe it's been 4 years since she was born. Where does the time go.
Thanks so much for your comment on my very neglected blog. I guess my blog has taken a back seat because of facebook but I promise I will update very soon. It's been way too long.
What beautiful news! Does this mean we will be seeing more of you ;) ?
Hugs and kisses to you all!
Wow, big congratulations to you Corin!! That is very exciting news. Enjoy this special time :-)

@ Lorell: YES! Lori's got me on her calender!! Hearing her voice on the phone instantly brought back so many positive pregnancy/birth memories.
All your relatives here in TN are awed by this great news.
Blessings on you and the little one in your womb. Babies are fearfully and wonderfully made.
I love your open-ness to life.
I *am* thinking about starting a blog, Corin! My family moved from Canada to Australia about 7 months ago.. so the move in combination with this new pregnancy gives me lots to think about and say. Will keep you posted :)
