After Kaden's birth, I assumed we didn't get that many great photos just because of the extremely short amount of time we had and also because none of them were actual birth photos. But then I finally got around to going through them when he was about 3 months old, and discovered a goldmine of photos from his immediate post birth moments. The first photo was the moment we arrived at the birth center. He still had his umbilical cord attached and was still in the blanket that Davey had swaddled him in the car. These pictures, I already treasure. Here is a little collage I put together to share. Enjoy.....

So beautiful! Thank you for sharing friend!! When you get a chance, will you shoot me a text? I had to do a master reset on my crap-phone and lost everything! Also, I wanted to have you change the email for me to access your blog... I hardly ever use the one you have me signed up with. :) Thanks love! xoxo
i loved the video Corin. your birth stories have all been so beautiful. so our local Montessori collaborative, called today, there's a new opening, and Ian's name was picked. he's be in kindergarten, just like your Dakota. is she enjoying school? what do you think of it? we're taking a tour of the new building, sitting in on a school day and deciding on Monday. any opinions you've got about Montessori would be appreciated. i don't have local friends who school their kids this way.
Thanks! Sarah in Ohio.
Hi Sarah!! Montessori...AWESOME. Such an amazing program. I can't say enough about Dakota's school. She is doing great and really loves it there. She's excited everyday and tells me all about what she did and what they are going to do. I think the montessori method is such an organic way for kids to learn. I want to blog about it so badly but we are SO busy. Hopefully I'll get a post up here soon.
Good luck!
Thanks for your input, Corin! i can't believe we've been given this opportunity. i am so thankful! i am not cut from the homeschooling momma mold, and the last thing i want to do is send my babies to our local ublic schools. i'm excited and nervous for our new adventure, and thrilled to see that someone else loves it!
